Sam Lipman

Chief Executive Officer

Mr Lipman’s background includes more than 15 years of power generation experience as a developer, project and sales manager, and consultant for global energy and independent power producers.

Prior to Vasari Energy, Mr. Lipman was director of sales and project development for Eoplly USA, the US subsidiary to a Chinese solar module and cell manufacturing company with over $300 million of annual revenue. As Southwest regional manager for Enfinity Corp, a top 10 global PV solar developer, Mr. Lipman planned and developed utility-scale and large distributed photovoltaic solar energy projects throughout the southwestern and western states. As principal with Power Central Associates, Mr. Lipman served as power generation and renewable energy project consultant to GE Energy, where he directed the acquisition and development of 13 natural gas and solar sites representing potential output of 4000 MW to 5000 MW.

Zhen Han

Executive Vice President, Finance & Strategy

Mr. Han has more than 20 years of financing, investment and M&A experience in the energy industry. Prior to joining Vasari Energy, Mr. Han managed a boutique renewable energy financing and M&A advisory firm. He advised over $4 billion of transactions in the U.S. and overseas, including reaching financial close for a $120 million loan to the first utility scale wind farm in Indonesia. Mr. Han was the CFO for UPC Renewables China from 2012 to 2014. Before UPC, Mr. Han was a senior project finance banker at OPIC where he closed more than $2 billion of transactions including several award winning project finance loans to large clean energy projects. Mr. Han began his career at Wartsila Corporation where he held various positions in engineering, business development, power development and project financing.

Jorge Aizcorbe


Mr. Aizcorbe, Director, has generated over $1 Billion for companies such as Chase Capital Partners, Bechtel Industries, Scotts Miracle Gro and Madison Dearborn Partners.

Mr. Aizcorbe’s career began with W.R. Grace & Co. in Corporate Development and Merger & Acquisitions. Mr. Aizcorbe founded Solar Systems of Arizona, one of the nation’s earliest solar companies, as well as biotech innovator Kerrys Domeliead and Twyford Labs, and fiber optic company Optreon.

Howard Nguyen

Director of Marketing

Mr. Nguyen has over a decade of experience in marketing, information technology and search engines. He works closely with all departments and marketing agencies to ensure the implementation of marketing plans are coordinated, aligned, consistent and meet business objectives. Prior to Vasari Energy, Mr. Nguyen served as Global Marketing Specialist at OKInternational, where he strategically managed and implemented marketing activities for the company.

Mr. Nguyen earned a dual Master’s degree in Information Systems Management and E-Commerce Management in California. His extensive level in this intricate field will help Vasari Energy improve its brand and stand strong in the market. In addition to having the skills to promote and strengthen the Company’s product and service development, Mr. Nguyen brings a keen understanding of the technology behind the latest marketing techniques and strategies.

Jake Cheng

Business Development Executive

Mr. Cheng has nearly a decade of experience working in the international business development sector focusing on finance, expansion and renewable energy.

Prior to Vasari Energy, Mr. Cheng was director of finance and expansion in the regions of China, Taiwan, Australia, Mexico and South America. Mr. Cheng established a strong distribution channel network in these countries by working directly with overseas personnel up to, and including, C-level executives. Mr. Cheng also has experience in consumer finance and commercial business banking, helping match business opportunities to high-profile clients.

Mr. Cheng has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from University of Irvine, California. He is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Holly Holcomb

Corporate Manager

Holly Holcomb joined Vasari Energy in 2015 as Office Administrator. Ms. Holcomb brings with her 11 years of prior office, administrative and accounting experience, including 9 years with a boutique accounting firm servicing high-level clients in Newport Beach, CA. Currently Ms. Holcomb handles daily operations of the office, from payroll and HR to bookkeeping and compliance. She also plays a large role in investor relations, overseeing stock purchase transactions and providing support and regular correspondence to Vasari Energy’s shareholders.

Michael Megarit

Chairman of the Board of Directors

Mr. Megarit has 25 years of experience in domestic and international project finance and investments and was responsible for transactions and advisory work in a wide range of industries including energy in the US and emerging markets.

Mr. Megarit has been with Vasari Energy since its inception and is responsible for client relationships. Prior to Vasari, Mr. Megarit was president of AllegisOne, Inc., a project development company and chairman of its wholly owned project development finance subsidiary, AllegisOne Securities, Inc., a NASD registered broker dealer and a principal for 12 years with Madison Investments, an international investment firm specializing in corporate and project finance in emerging markets. While with Madison, Mr. Megarit was responsible for clients with $100 million to $1 billion in annual revenue including financial institutions and multinational corporations.
