Project Description

With an average DNI (Direct Normal Irradiance) of over 6.5 KWh/m2/day and over 280 days of sunshine and clear sky each year and being ranked No. 1 Nationally in solar potential in the US Market. Terry County Texas is not in any shortage of the sun. Terry County has a total area of 891 square miles of which 889 square miles is land and only 2.1 square miles is water, Terry County is one of the 46 dry counties in the state of Texas which makes it the perfect area for Vasari Texas Solar 1. Vasari Energy is carefully and efficiently developing this land to ensure the process is quick and efficient. Spanning over an area of 635 acres, the Vasari Texas Solar 1 can generate up to 105MW DC of electricity, enough solar power to fulfill the energy needs of more than 12,800 households in the area.

By reducing the amount of harmful carbon dioxides produced each year through other means of power generation. The Addition of clean energy production from Vasari Texas Solar 1 will help Texas push towards the renewal energy initiative.
